Located in the heart of a small village, Ducks Inn covers all the bases with its bar-bistro, restaurant and smart accommodation. The good-looking dining area, recently refurbished, is matched by the attractiveness of what arrives on the plate. The kitchen turns out appealing combinations like honey-roasted carrot and cumin veloute with cashew nuts and, for mains, perhaps, moves on to fillet of seabream, tarragon linguini, salsify, cumin and mussels or spiced pork belly, braised red cabbage, potato rösti, Brussel sprouts and chestnuts. Dessert might be a crème caramel with macerated pineapple. There's also more than 200 wines to choose between.
