You'll likely find yourself distracted by the incredible views from the Headland's elegant dining room when you should be perusing the menu - you might even spot dolphins out in the bay. Inside it's smart and sharp - crisp linens, formal service, and the style is modern British with a few nods to the past such as potted shrimps or Windsor brown soup. Contemporary dishes might include a foie gras torchon with Cornish cider brandy jelly, spiced poached apricots and toasted brioche. A main of sole fillets comes with kale and excellent salsify fritters. Finish with rhubarb gin jelly and vanilla meringue.
