A thoughtfully and stylishly modernised traditional inn, the Old Red Lion offers a comfortable bar/lounge and spacious outdoor patio as well as an elegant restaurant. On the seasonally-changing menu you'll find a good selection of modern British dishes, with the ingredients sourced from local farm and high-quality producers. Maybe start with confit duck leg terrine with chestnuts, prunes, and a wonderfully sticky prune and onion chutney, before moving on to slow-cooked pork belly with fondant potato, cider jus, crackling and pan-fried tenderloin. Try the peanut butter chocolate brownie with peanut butter parfait and peanut praline to finish.
