Spectacular views and home-cooked food

Start or end a walk in the Malvern Hills in this traditional, dog-friendly country inn, probably the highest in Worcestershire. Indeed, the views from various nearby high points are quite something; from Malvern Beacon, for instance, you can see seven counties. Beers come from Wye Valley among others, while home-cooked dishes include pie of the day, chicken curry and battered cod. Themed food nights feature sirloin steak (Tuesday) and curry night (Thursday), and roast lunches are served on Sundays. Well-behaved pets are welcome in the bar, garden and the bedrooms.
