With its beams and open fire, this lovely old inn has bags of rustic charm. Tucked away in a pretty village with views of the glorious Bredon Hills, local produce from the Vale of Evesham provides the basis for home-cooked dishes such as jumbo crayfish and prawn cocktail; boiled ham with two eggs and chunky chips; and a range of home-made desserts. There is also a traditional Sunday roast. The pretty walled garden enjoys outstanding views – a great setting for drinking or dining – and the nearby River Avon is ideal for walking and fishing.
