As its name suggests, this popular pub-restaurant occupies a 250-year-old barn that has been lovingly restored using salvaged timbers from wooden ships. Brimming with charm, the interior is rich in oak flooring, authentic wagon wheel chandeliers, and fine stained glass. Lofty raftered ceilings, a galleried restaurant, and leather chairs fronting a huge fireplace add to the atmosphere. Here, and in the bar and enclosed courtyard, you’ll find sandwiches, pub classics and an à la carte menu at lunch and dinner. Sup a pint of Harvey’s or Guinness and tuck into dishes created from seasonal British ingredients.
