Quintessentially English pub with something for everyone

At a glance

Bar menu
Beer festival

Plenty of variety is the key here, from the children’s choices to dishes based on fresh locally sourced produce. Traditionally English from its beams to its flagstone floors, the pub enjoys a light and airy atmosphere. There’s lots of space outside too, with capacious car parking and a huge garden where a summer barbecue, wood-burning oven and outdoor bar make for a truly relaxing experience. Typically on the menu are dishes such as mushroom and goats’ cheese tartlet; and smoked mackerel pâté to start, followed by pan-fried veal liver, mash, bacon, onion gravy and seasonal vegetables; or the chef’s pie of the day.
