The Globe's elegant restored frontage dates from a 1901 brewery rebuild. The interior, also revamped, still retains its period look, particularly the grand wooden bar and the fireplaces. Three guest ales accompany Bass and Holden's Black Country Mild. Snacks include ciabattas and burgers, while among the starters are loaded potato boats with cheese, bacon and/or salsa; and boxed baked camembert. Divided into grills and home comforts, the menu lists sirloin steak, mushroom and chips; steak and kidney pie; curry of the week; scampi and chips; and vegetable lasagne. Raspberry pavlova appears among the puddings.
