Open all year

Situated in classic Somerset countryside, The Cotley makes an ideal watering hole for lovers of peace and quiet. Walkers with, or without, their dogs enjoy open fires in winter, and the raised terrace in summer with views over surrounding hills. Formerly the New Inn, it was bought and re-named the Cotley by Colonel Eames, after the Cotley Harriers. With a pint of Exmoor in hand, choose from pub fare such as home-made beef lasagne, or look to the regularly changing specials for dishes like plaice fillet stuffed with prawns and crabmeat. With spirit calmed and body replete, depart for a visit to the lovely gardens of Cricket St Thomas a short drive away.
