Cheerful staff provide a warm welcome to this friendly 300-year-old village inn, which boasts large inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors, and exposed beams. The place is very atmospheric at night by candlelight, and the blackboard menus feature local produce, including seasonal game and fish from the south coast. The à la carte menu always has two fresh fish dishes, steaks and a changing dessert board. A light bites/snack menu is available on some days along with a roast lunch on Sunday.
