Tucked down the back streets of Belle Vue in the heart of Shrewsbury, The Prince of Wales is run by Victoria Price who restored this friendly pub to its former glory. A rotating choice of guest ales has already won the pub several awards and the commitment to real ale continues with February and May beer festivals. Enjoy your pint in the bar or the large sun-trap beer garden overlooking the local bowling green. The traditional food menu includes baguettes, ploughman’s, pie of the day, home-made lasagne and local sausages, egg and chips. On the days that Shrewsbury Town FC are playing at home, the pub opens for extra hours.
