A warm and friendly atmosphere prevails at this 17th-century, stone-built free house, which overlooks the village green, duck pond and open countryside. Real ale is on offer in the spacious traditional bar as well as 11 wines by the glass. Out front is a shaded patio, while the large rear garden has sufficient room for a petanque piste. On the menu, you can expect locally-sourced, seasonal produce. Speciality evenings take place throughout the year, from steak nights to open mic and a pub quiz.
