Whimsical sayings ("The road to success is under construction"), leather sofas, stacked logs and a book exchange characterise the interior of this stylishly designed steam-driven mill. Micro-brewed real ales rarely need to travel far, as for instance Gun Dog from Woodford Halse, and Whistling Kite from Kettering. Seasonal dishes are prepared fresh daily plus there’s favourites such as a classic fish and chips, burgers and steaks from the grill. A doggy bag is willingly offered if you can't finish. Over the Summer Bank Holiday weekend in August there's a beer and cider festival.
