Pint of beer on a bar

The Forresters Arms Inn

At a glance

Bar menu
Beer festival
Open all year

Next door to the famous Robert Thompson craft carpentry workshop, The Forresters Arms has fine examples of his early work, with the distinctive trademark mouse evident in both bars. A sturdy stone-built former coaching inn still catering for travellers passing close by the famous White Horse of Kilburn on the North York Moors, it has log fires, cask ales and good food. Dishes include starters such as deep-fried brie with Kilburn chutney, and smoked chicken and roasted pepper salad; then there'll be mains like steak and ale pie, and game casserole with horseradish dumplings. There's also a specials board and a selection of lunchtime sandwiches and snacks.
