Overlooking Parson’s Green, the late 18th-century, coaching inn and Victorian gin palace is a substantial sandstone pub. It’s a destination for lovers of British pub food and interesting real ales and wines, with a restaurant in the former coach house, an upstairs bar, and a luxurious private dining area. Every dish on the menu comes with a recommended beer to drink, and the pub always has at least 135 bottled beers from around the world.
