Local, seasonal produce drives the menu here

A stylish country pub in the city is how fashionable Fulham foodies regard this much-loved neighbourhood gem. Expect to find scrubbed farmhouse tables, wooden floors, locals quaffing pints of real ale, chalkboard menus listing terrific bar snacks (the Scotch eggs are legendary). British seasonal cooking makes use of foraged produce and even vegetables from the pub’s allotment, resulting in dishes like, slow-cooked duck egg with wild mushroom tart, confit leeks and pancetta crisps to start; confit lamb belly, charred broccoli, provençal red peppers, black olives and rosemary to follow; and pecan pie, clotted cream ice cream and salted caramel for afters.
