Now in new hands, the well-positioned Grove lies between Ealing Broadway's shops and the famous film studios. In addition to the bar and restaurant there's an outdoor dining area and a large terrace. The menu's cosmopolitan tone comes from such items as a starter of scallop raviolo with brown shrimps, samphire and chilli butter, while the British side is represented by slow-cooked Hampshire pork belly with white beans, pancetta, celeriac and cider stew; and beer-battered North Sea haddock, hand-cut chips and mushy peas. At least three roasts and a full menu is served throughout Sunday. Beer festivals are held in February and October.
