Former railway property now a traditional inn

Bar menu
Beer festival
Open all year

This beamed, traditional stone country inn started life as the booking office and waiting room for Lord Willoughby’s private railway line. These days it has a fresher look whilst retaining its traditional charms. Expect a good selection of real ales – including several from local microbreweries – with great, home-cooked food available every lunchtime and evening. Dishes may include steak and kidney pie, Lincolnshire sausage and mash, or meat or vegetable lasagne. Omelettes, jacket potatoes, and hot and cold baguettes are also on offer. As well as a cosy bar with open fire, and a light and airy sun lounge, there is also a large beer garden with stunning views to enjoy on warmer days. A summer holiday beer festival is held.
