Open all year

Dating back to the 19th century, this Grade II listed building is one of the oldest in the picturesque village of West Bradford and only a few minutes from Clitheroe and the A59. With two real fires and a bar dispensing local ales such as Worsthorne Chestnut Mare, the pub has a genuinely warm and relaxed atmosphere. Owner-chef Matthew Frost uses predominantly local suppliers for dishes like warm pulled pork salad, black pudding fritter, apple and wholegrain mustard dressing, which might be followed by roast organic Goosnargh chicken breast, wild mushroom risotto, chive and white wine sauce.
