Open all year

Owned by the Seafood Pub Company, the Barley Mow is located at the start and end of a lovely walk on Pendle Hill, after which you should be in need of a glass of Wainwright ale and a hearty meal. The menu has an excellent choices from the Robata grill, which might be employed to produce dishes such as prawn and chorizo skewer with paprika potatoes, guacamole, charred corn and tomato salsa; or 12oz gammon rib-eye, fried egg, onion rings and fries. Steamed syrup sponge with proper custard is one traditional end to a meal.
