The White Horse is situated opposite Chilham Castle in the 15th-century village square that is a delightfully haphazard mix of gabled, half-timbered houses, shops, and inns dating from the late Middle Ages – it’s often used as a film location. This ‘chocolate box’ inn offers a traditional atmosphere and a wide selection of real ales from breweries like Sharp’s and Adnams. The modern cooking is based on fresh local produce. The menu offers ploughman's, sandwiches and dishes like bangers and whole grain mustard mash, chilli con carne and crayfish linguine.
