The picturesque village of Hodsoll Street on the North Downs, surrounded by beautiful Kent countryside, is home to this 300-year-old, family-run pub, much loved for its decent food and real ales. There’s a large garden for warmer weather, and Sharp’s Doom Bar and Timothy Taylor Landlord are a couple of the four real ales on tap. Food is prepared to order using fresh local produce, and the evening menu includes a wide variety of fish, such as whole plaice, skate wing and smoked haddock, as well as dishes like roast lamb shank, steak and kidney filo parcel, and various steaks.
