This inn is bedecked with flower baskets in summer and the stunning coastal location beside Bembridge Ledge means the raised deck and patio is a perfect place to sup locally brewed Goddards bitter whilst watching yachts and fishing boats out in the eastern approach to the Solent. Locally caught seafood is one of the pub’s great attractions, with dishes such as dressed crab; cold seafood platter; moules marinière; and grilled sea bass fillet. There are of course pub favourites, seasonal and vegetarian dishes too, and sandwiches at lunchtime. Some of the light and airy bedrooms have outstanding sea views.
