The family-run Creek Inn occupies a plum spot on the quayside overlooked by Peel Hill. A real ale drinkers’ paradise, it has locally brewed Okells ales with up to four changing guests. Bands play every weekend, and nightly during the TT and Manx Grand Prix, when the pub becomes the town’s focal point. There’s a huge selection of dishes on the menu, from local fish, steaks and burgers, to vegetarian options and salads, alongside sandwiches, hot baguettes and toasties. A typical meal might be chilli and garlic crab claws followed by steak and Rory’s ale pie with chips and peas.
