A real Highland atmosphere pervades this roadside inn set in glorious mountain scenery between Fort William and Fort Augustus. Welcoming bars make it a great base from which to explore Loch Ness, Glencoe and the West Coast. Relax by the crackling log fire with a wee dram or a pint of Garry Ale, then tuck into a good meal. Perhaps try baked filo parcel stuffed with haggis, bashit neeps, roasted shallot with malt whisky and thyme mayonnaise to start; followed by baked pollock with a sun-dried tomato and herb crust; or a succulent 10oz rib-eye Scottish beefsteak with hand-cut chips.
