Waterfront pub serving great local seafood

Meaning ‘stag’s antlers’ in Gaelic, The Caberfeidh is run by experienced chef-hoteliers Colin Craig and Lesley Cornfield. The Georgian pub’s position where the River Inver meets the sea loch makes it a great spot for otter and heron-spotting from the restaurant and beer garden. Its waterfront location is reflected in the menus, which display a strong sense of place with an emphasis on seasonal produce including wild game and locally caught fish and shellfish. Start, perhaps, with Lochinver whole creel-caught langoustines moving on to Highland sirloin steak or wild Highland venison moussaka. As opening times vary throughout the year, please check the exact times with the pub.
