On warmer days, you can enjoy views of Old Winchester Hill from the garden of this popular pub in the heart of the Meon Valley. Food is key – local ingredients are used wherever possible. A typical selection of dishes could include sweet potato and chilli soup; local sirloin steak, grilled mushroom and tomato, watercress and fries; beer battered haddock, hand-cut chips and mushy peas. The bar offers well-kept Wadworth ales, weekly changing guest ales, and 14 wines served by the glass.
