This 1932-built pub on the outskirts of Winchester is well known for its wonderful floral displays in the summer months. Brid and Derek Phelan are strong on Irish charm and pride themselves on offering good, home-cooked food. Typically you can tuck into steak and ale pie; home-cooked ham, egg and chips; poached salmon. Vegetarian options, a short vegan menu and a gluten-free menu are also available. The pub has a large beer garden, smoking shelter, large car park and the new Regal Room for functions for up to 40 people.

From Union St in town centre follow ‘All other routes’ sign. At rdbt 1st exit into High St. At rdbt 1st exit into Bridge St (B3404) signed Alton/Alresford, (becomes Alresford Rd)
