Local ales and spicy treats in rural seclusion

At a glance

Bar menu
Restaurant menu

Curiously, among the team at The Fox Inn, is a former chef to the Thai Royal Family who now dedicates his skills to providing a startling menu to pub-goers who adventure along the country lanes that cross outside this secluded inn in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Their reward is a superb setting beside coppice woodland with relaxing views across sloping arable fields that stretch to the horizons. This 300-year-old brick and flint cottage has been a pub since 1830; inside it is largely furnished in a casual-contemporary style featuring an unusual log-end bar design, where guests may enjoy a wide choice of genuine Thai dishes and some fine local beers.
