Own microbrewery and local seafood a specialty

At a glance

Bar menu
Microbrewed ales

Personally run by the Scoular family for over 30 years, this lively quayside pub stands in a picturesque village at the tip of the Machars peninsula. Sit in one of the comfortable bars and enjoy a real ale, a malt whisky or a glass of wine. Glance out of the picture windows and watch the fishermen at work, then look to the menu to sample the fruits of their labours. Extensive seafood choices – perhaps salmon and fishcake kebabs, or smoked haddock fillet wrapped with black pudding and bacon – are supported by the likes of wild mushroom risotto and corn-fed chicken breast with haggis and mash.
