Lewinnick Lodge perches on the cliff top of the Pentire Headland, enjoying a timeless panorama of sea views. This is a destination eatery, but real ales, local cider, crisp wines and premium lagers are all on offer in the bar. Wraps and baps and gourmet burgers can be ordered, but fresh seafood, much of it from Cornish waters, is the menu’s key attraction; expect the likes of pan-fried stone bass fillets with patatas bravas, chorizo, spinach, spring onion and salsa verde; or whole roasted plaice with sautéed potatoes, griddled asparagus and cockle butter. Meats from the county include slow-roasted lamb and beef. Leave room for the lemon posset with black forest berries, shortbread and meringue.
