Pint of beer on a bar

This is the award-winning brewery tap for the Chiltern Brewery, one of the oldest microbreweries in the country, which prides itself on serving their beers, plus craft and guest ales, with care and a great deal of knowledge. Special beer celebrations are held throughout the year; wines come from The Rothschild Estate. Enjoy a drink in the ancient cobbled courtyard, or a lunch of home-cooked dishes – venison and wild mushroom Wellington, and pie of the day to name but two. It was in this former coaching inn, dating from 1455, that Henry VIII reputedly wooed Anne Boleyn.
