Down a leafy side street in the heart of Clifton, this bustling Victorian pub has the unique and added attraction of a small theatre upstairs. The team here continues to draw in the theatre crowd and maintain a pubby atmosphere for the locals, while also enticing others with their good food offering. As well as an appealing lunchtime menu of sandwiches and light bites, the bar menu offers pub classics and a carte that might include pan-seared pigeon breast; with pistachio, raisin and pancetta salad; slow-roasted Welsh lamb; and fire-roasted red pepper, onion marmalade, feta and roast sweet potato parcel.
