One of the oldest buildings in the village, this inn is owned by the Upham Group so you’ll find their beers at the bar. The snug remains a comfy focus for chatter or contemplation, and there’s also an airy restaurant with eye-catching decor, or a heated patio. The chefs work with local suppliers to create dishes like glazed pork faggot with black pudding, baked potato purée, Savoy cabbage and honeyed parsnip.
