Close to Woburn Abbey and the Safari Park, this smart family-run bar and restaurant has built its reputation on friendly service and freshly cooked food made from locally sourced ingredients whenever possible; the kitchen team is passionate about sourcing ingredients from local farms and estates. The contemporary restaurant is welcoming and the menu offers dishes such as The Birch chargrilled fillet steak burger in a toasted brioche bun at lunchtime, and pan-fried sea bream fillet, sautéed potatoes, orange-braised chicory and steamed asparagus in the evening. There’s also fresh fish and steaks cooked on the open griddle and traditional roasts on Sundays.
