A place for refreshment before train or ferry

Bar menu
Open all year

Handy for both Oban’s train station and the Mull ferry terminal, The Lorne is a family-friendly haven with a sheltered and heated beer garden – an ideal spot to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or a Fyne Ales pint of beer before departing the town. The menu offers a good choice of pub classics, like scampi and chips and a selection of burgers, as well as steaks and haggis with neeps and tatties. The ‘feast for a fiver’ is great value and there are some small plates for smaller appetites. If you’re staying in Oban, The Lorne offers a busy programme of pub quizzes, DJ nights and live music, when the party continues into the early hours.
