Handy for the ferry terminal and with views of the bay and harbour, this elegant Georgian residence was built in 1780 as the dower house for the family of the Duke of Argyll. Comfortable and attractive public rooms invite relaxation, while most of the well-equipped bedrooms are furnished with period pieces. Nelson's Bar has stunning views over the bay and fine dining is available in the restaurant. The hotel has its own mooring.
