Experience genuine hospitality at this comfortable and stylish property
At a glance
Located in the peaceful village of Portinscale, just a few hundred metres from majestic Derwentwater, Skiddaw Croft was built in 1913 but has enjoyed extensive investment with numerous projects taking place inside and out. A warm, genuine welcome awaits all guests on arrival, with the offer of refreshments and home baking. Well appointed, modern bedrooms enjoy a variety of views – the lake and sometimes Cat Bells (depending on the time of year) from the front, while from the rear, Skiddaw is visible. Off-road parking is a bonus, and Portinscale is handy for the A66 and Keswick.
