Rockside Guest House was built from Lakeland stone in 1847, and is owner-managed by Martin and Caroline. They have modernised the building to provide all mod cons, yet retained many original features. Situated at the head of the village, Rockside is a short walk from local transport links, restaurants, pubs and shops, and only 20 minutes' walk from Lake Windermere. Breakfast offers a range of options for all tastes, from a substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and vegetarian alternatives, all prepared with quality local produce and served with home-made marmalade and jams.
