At a glance
Peacefully located in rural Cheshire and close to Sandbach and Crewe, The Bear’s Head, dating from 1624, is actually two adjoining buildings – one black-and-white-timbered and the other brick built. Inside there are real fires, old beams, flagstone floors, spacious dining areas and a wide choice of cask ales and food. The en suite, modern bedrooms have TVs, desks, free WiFi, tea- and coffee-making facilities as standard; family rooms are available. A continental buffet breakfast is complimentary for all guests.
