A 200-year-old traditional pub complete with old beams and low ceilings. Hidden down a country lane, it has a peaceful garden overlooking open fields where you can see horses and llamas at pasture. A typical menu may include pan-fried fillet steak with blue cheese gratin potatoes, with seasonal vegetables and a bourguignon sauce; pavé of halibut with rosemary sauté potatoes, chargrilled asparagus and baby leeks, with horseradish cream sauce; or asparagus tortellini with basil and Parmesan cheese.
