Run by the Fielder family for the past two years, this 200-year-old traditional pub comes complete with old beams and low ceilings and is hidden down a country lane with a peaceful garden overlooking open fields. A typical menu includes tapas; chorizo in white wine; spicy BBQ chicken wings; calamari with tartare sauce. To follow maybe pork and leek sausages with mash; surf and turf steak with garlic tiger king prawns; spicy beef chilli or a locally sourced steak chargrilled to your liking. Wash it all down with a well-kept pint of Old Speckled Hen.
