What you get with the AA Road Atlas app
- All AA maps are built into the app and can therefore be used offline (no need for an Internet connection)
- Street-level maps. This needs an Internet connection, but can be switched on and off
- Offline search for postcodes, towns, cities and villages, selected points of interest, airports and services
- Search online for street names
- Set the focus of the map – view your location based on GPS. Or choose an OS grid reference, easting and northing, or postcode (nearest to within 100 metres)
- Tracking, so you can easily find your location on the move. Just tap the GPS dot. (This feature is for GPS-enabled devices, such as iPhones and iPads)
- Versatility – rotate the map on screen to ensure left and right turns won't become confusing. On an iPad, the maps effortlessly resize depending on whether it's portrait or landscape
- Compass mode, which automatically sets the maps to point north
