A fine undulating course in expansive heathland interspersed with many attractive clumps of gorse, broom and bracken. Some well-established silver birch is a feature. The really tough 7th, 8th and 9th holes complete the first half. Accuracy is the premium and a good putting touch will be required to score well. Built on sandy foundations, the course plays well all year.
