Bodelva, ST AUSTELL, PL24 2SG

Write a review

An unforgettable experience in a breathtaking location, the Eden Project is a gateway into the fascinating world of plants and human society. Space-age technology meets "The Lost World" in the biggest greenhouse ever built. Located in a 50 metre-deep crater the size of 30 football pitches, are two gigantic geodesic conservatories: the Humid Tropics Biome and the Warm Temperate Biome. There is also a Rainforest Lookout - a platform suspended from the roof of the Rainforest Biome, giving views of the canopy from 30 metres above the forest floor. There's also a walkway in the trees and Skywire, the largest zipwire in England (additional charge and weight restrictions apply). There's an ice-rink from October to February and concerts in the summer - see the website for details.
