Quarry Walk Park
Coppice Lane,
Croxden Common,
Freehay,
CHEADLE,
ST10 1RQ
A pleasant park, close to Alton Towers, developed in an old quarry with well-screened pitches, all with water and electricity, and mature trees and shrubs, which enhance the peaceful ambience of the park. There are seven glades of varying sizes used exclusively for tents, one with ten electric hook-ups. There are timber lodges for hire, each with its own hot tub.

We visited this campsite with our 3 small children. The setting is lovely.
The experience is ruined however by the pitiful facilities. The toilet block for the campsite consists of two washbasins and four lavatories in a tiny 'portakabin' which are shared between men and women. There is a 'family room' in the admin block but gets busy. We couldn't wash dishes in the morning because the wash up room was full of people washing their hair! Booked 3 nights, left after 2.
