Description

A well-designed, purpose-built park at the rear of an eating house on the A6 between Bakewell and Chatsworth, and adjacent to the New Peak Shopping Village. The park comprises a level grassy area running down to the river, and all pitches have hardstandings and electric hook-ups.

Open all year. Last arrival 20.00. Last departure noon. Booking advisable BH, wknds & peak periods.

This is a dreadful campsite. Booking counts for nothing. The 'Basil Faulty' style manager suggested where we could put the booking when we arrived and there wasn't a space for us. Its cramped and uncared for. How can you rate it at all? Don't go.
