The Whitehaven, was recommended to us by a friend and as recommendations go this has been excellent. There's always a warm and friendly welcome awaiting us, and we feel at home the minute we walk through the door. The rooms are spotlessly clean, we've stayed in them all and Simon's breakfast is brilliant and sets us up for the day. In the evenings we always eat at The Magpie, which is our favourite restaurant the food and service is excellent.
