Lincoln Farm Park, Standlake, Oxfordshire
Tucked away in sleepy Oxfordshire village close to the River Thames, Lincoln Farm is a long-established and beautifully landscaped family-run park, offering a truly excellent camping or caravanning experience. There are top class facilities throughout and the combination of sound investment by the owner along with passionate and caring new managers, has seen significant improvements over the past two years. There are excellent leisure facilities, with two pools plus a gym and sauna, and there’s also a spa/massage facility.
Big changes were made to the reception area for 2019, with beautiful planters and hanging baskets adding colour and a welcoming first impression. Inside, the newly presented shop area has a real wow factor, with bespoke shelving stocked with goodies, new flooring and paintwork; the gym and games room both have new equipment. On the park, the hardstanding pitches are generously sized and immaculately maintained, and the spotlessly clean toilet facilities offer good levels of privacy, including fully serviced bathrooms. There’s an impressive new children’s play area and there are plans to add beauty salon/hairdressers in the former information centre, and a pétanque pitch. This is the perfect base for visiting the many attractions in Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.
