Plassey Holiday Park

Plassey

Plassey Holiday Park, Eyton, Wrexham

More than fifty years ago the Brookshaw family started developing their farmyard and buildings into a must-do leisure destination. The result of year-on-year planning and investment is a lovely park set in several hundred acres of quiet farm and meadowland in the Dee Valley. The superb toilet facilities include individual cubicles for total privacy and security, while the Edwardian farm buildings have been converted into the notable Shippon Restaurant, a coffee shop and over 20 independent retail outlets, including hair and beauty salons and chic gift shops.

There is plenty here to entertain all age groups, from a swimming pool to free fishing and use of the 9-hole golf course. A Welsh castle-themed children’s play park is a unique feature and for families there are two miles of nature trails through 247 acres of woods and farmland. Holiday homes are located within The Pines area and a choice of standard or fully serviced touring pitches for caravans or motorhomes are very well spaced to create optimum privacy.

For that memorable glamping experience, luxury lodges, with spacious decked areas that include a hot tub, are also a feature. Grounds presentation is excellent with neat grassed surfaces, indigenous and cultivated planting and pretty seasonal flowers combining to create a real sense of peace and tranquillity.
