Breakdowns

Don't worry, help is at hand. Call the DriverLine on 0344 472 1081 and select the breakdown option.

You'll need to call your European breakdown service provider to arrange recovery.

If you're an AA Member with European Breakdown Cover, their contact number is 0044 (0)121 336 6289.

If your car breaks down and needs repairs, we'll place your car with an approved repairer who'll also provide you with a courtesy car.

It's a requirement of your agreement that you must have European breakdown cover when going abroad. You'll also need to tell us when you're travelling.

If you do breakdown abroad, call our DriverLine on 0344 472 1081 and select the breakdown option.

If you don't have breakdown cover with the AA, remember to add the contact details of your breakdown provider to your phone before you travel.

When you call the DriverLine to notify us of a repair, we'll aim to book your vehicle with an approved repairer who has a courtesy car available.
